A drone flight over the site generates a 3D surface model, which is used to calculate the volume of stockpiled material. This is useful for tracking material on site, verifying deliveries, or reconciling against invoices.
Yes, when ground control points (GCPs) are available. Two flights are taken at different times, each generating a 3D surface, and the surfaces are compared to show where material was cut or filled across the site. GCPs surveyed by the site's own surveyor are needed to align the two flights accurately. If GCPs aren't available on a given site, stockpile volume reporting is the better fit for tracking material.
Dense point clouds (LAS/LAZ), textured 3D mesh models (OBJ), high-resolution orthomosaics (GeoTIFF), and Digital Elevation Models (GeoTIFF). Other formats can usually be arranged with the team on request.
Weekly, fortnightly, or monthly, whichever suits the project. Happy to work with a different cadence if needed.

A DJI Mini 4 Pro sub-250g, GNSS-based positioning (no RTK). It's well suited to progress monitoring, visual reporting, and volumetric estimates. For work that needs survey-grade accuracy, we work with the site surveyor to incorporate their GCPs.
Sweep holds a CASA-Certified Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) Multi-Rotor up to 25kg and is fully insured. The Mini 4 Pro's sub-250g weight also means most standard jobs fall under CASA's excluded category, which simplifies approvals on top of the licence.

Yes, sites near controlled airspace or aerodromes need additional CASA approval before flying. This is checked as part of job scoping and isn't something you need to organise.
We take privacy seriously. Data collected is limited to what's needed for the job, stored securely, and not shared without permission. Standard practice for any commercial drone operation handling client site data.
Flights are coordinated with the site project manager beforehand, so timing avoids active crane lifts or other site activity that could create a conflict. A safe standoff distance is maintained from active machinery, and most flights are airborne for 20–30 minutes, so disruption to site operations is minimal.
Yes. The client arranges site access and any required induction ahead of the flight. Let us know what's needed and we'll fit around it.
Flights are weather-dependent so wind, rain, and low visibility can delay a flight. Rescheduling is usually quick since flights don't take long once conditions clear.
